STAMULLEN, 4 November 2014. Millmount Healthcare continues to improve its packaging capabilities with the introduction of a Domino V230i Thermal Transfer Printer, supplied by Codico Distributors, exclusive Irish distributors of Domino printing equipment. The V230i Thermal Transfer Printer allows savings through the printing of high-resolution codes, text and images onto flexible foils and labels.
With thermal transfer printing a well-recognized technology for coding in the pharmaceutical world, the V230i brings it forward another step. The Domino Thermal Transfer Printer, using i-Tech, Domino’s Intelligent Technology, has been retrofitted into Millmount Healthcare’s existing brackets, allowing printing from low to high speeds. In addition, Domino’s i-Tech Ribbon Drive offers economies of scale without compromising on print quality.
“Millmount Healthcare is happy with the new technology and feel we have taken the right decision with Domino’s V230i Thermal Transfer Printer”, says Pascal Keogh, Managing Director. “The overall cost savings allow us to reduce our downtime, our consumable use, improve our coding capabilities and in turn pass these savings on to our customers. With the added bonus of the printer encompassing 2D coding support, Millmount Healthcare is gearing up for serialization and traceability.”
